Amidst the apprehensions of the Corona epidemic once again intensifying, the Delhi government seems to be coming on alert mode. Chief Minister Kejriwal took several important decisions in his review meeting regarding Corona . Hospitals have been told to start procuring whatever resources are needed to fight the pandemic. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to increase the number of employees in hospitals as per the requirement. Keeping in mind the new variant BF.7 (new variant BF.7), Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Chief Secretary and officials of various departments of Delhi Government participated in this government meeting .
Expressing satisfaction during the review meeting , the Chief Minister said that so far no case related to the new variant has come to the fore in Delhi. Despite this, all kinds of precautions should be taken. He directed the health department that the process of sending positive samples for genome sequencing should be initiated. Apart from this, along with increasing the precautionary dose, also asked to start the exercise of inspection of machines in hospitals. 

More than 1.4 crore people are yet to get preventive dose

Most of the healthcare and frontline workers in Delhi have been given precautionary dose and Covid vaccine. Whereas, citizens in the age group of 18-59 and 60 need to get vaccinated soon. Precautionary dose is yet to be given to more than 1.4 crore people of all the three categories. At the same time, more than 33.58 lakh people have been given this dose. It was told that till December 21, more than 3.73 crore people in Delhi have been given vaccine dose.  

If needed, one lakh tests daily 

 The Chief Minister said that if the need arises, one lakh tests can be done daily. During the last wave of Corona, 25 thousand beds were prepared. This time there will be a target of availability of 36 thousand beds. He said that at present the state has the capacity to store 928 metric tonnes of oxygen. Apart from this, six thousand oxygen cylinders and 15 oxygen tankers are also available.

Instructions to take the instructions of the Center seriously  

The Chief Minister has asked the officers to take seriously the instructions issued by the Central Government. It was also informed that so far 92 percent of the cases in the capital are related to the X BB variant. Minor symptoms emerge in the patients suffering from this.

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि दिल्ली में इस समय 380 एंबुलेंस सक्रिय हैं। नए एंबुलेंस की उपलब्धता के लिए आर्डर दिए जा चुके हैं। इसके अलावा दिल्ली के अस्पतालों में 13 जगहों पर आठ हजार से अधिक बिस्तरों को तैयार करने के निर्देश भी दिए गए हैं। इसके अलावा 1100 से अधिक लोगों को होम आइसोलेशन में उपचार देने की क्षमता भी विकसित की गई है।
